In B2B one price list never fits everyone. A dealer expects a dealer price, a distributor a bigger discount, a loyal customer a personal deal.
In Atlaya all of this is built in. You set the rules once, and every customer who logs in sees the right price automatically: in the catalog, in the cart and on every document.
How the price matrix works
We call it a matrix because a price depends on two things at once: who is buying (a customer or a customer group) and what they are buying (a product or a product group). Any combination of the two can get its own discount. For example:
A visitor without an account sees the standard retail price.
Every dealer gets 17.5% off after logging in.
Every distributor gets 35% off.
One VIP customer gets 20% off the whole catalog.
Customer A gets 15% off one specific product.
The "large dealers" group gets 30% off one product group.
Dealer, distributor, VIP are just names. Atlaya doesn't treat any group differently: you create the groups your business needs and call them whatever you like, from "Wholesale A" to "Friends of the house". The rules are what matter.
You don't need a separate price list for each customer. You keep one retail price list and add the rules.
Discounts that grow with volume
Quantity breaks. The more units in one order, the lower the price per unit.
Loyalty discount for any group. Atlaya counts how many orders a customer placed and how much they spent over a period you choose, for example the last 12 months. As the volume grows, so does the discount, and the calculation updates on its own.
Special prices, promotions and promo codes
Special prices on single products or whole product groups.
Promotions on selected products or whole product groups.
Promo codes for a percentage or a fixed amount. Public or private, with a usage limit, for example for the first 10 customers only.
For each special price and promo code you decide whether it adds to other discounts, such as the customer's own discount or a current promotion, or replaces them.
What your customer sees
After logging in, the customer sees the retail price crossed out and their own price next to it. Their discount status is always visible in their account, so there are no questions about where a price came from.
Visitors without an account see the retail price. We can hide prices from visitors on request, but we don't recommend it: your customers and competitors already know your prices, and a buyer who can't see a price usually goes to someone who shows it. More on this in B2B vs B2C e-commerce.
Where the prices come from
The retail price list is the base for all the rules. You can keep it up to date in four ways:
by hand in the admin panel,
through an exchange with your ERP,
with a CSV price loader,
through your AI agent over MCP.
When a supplier sends a new price list, your agent can prepare the update for you. See AI agents on Atlaya.
